About the Owners (current and former)

Natalie Ambrose- Is futurist who works primarily for nonprofits in Washington, DC. As a boatless member of the Gibson Island YC, Natalie was happy to crew on other peoples' boats. She started looking seriously for her own live aboard powerboat when waterfront homes proved to be too expensive. She looked at Grand Banks and Albins. Then she saw her first LNVT, Loon. Natalie bought Alegria in Beaufort, NC and with help delivered it to the Chesapeake. It was fall and so Alegria immediately went on the hard. Natalie said she's come a long way in learning how to skipper Alegria. She looks back now and laughs at her first efforts. The Gibson Island YC Commodore's Review was particularly interesting. Natalie invited a lot of her friends to join her aboard. So, with all eyes on her she took the helm. Problem was she hadn't been at the helm since bringing Alegria north the previous fall. Now she wasn't sure how to work the throttle and remembers pondering on how to slow the boat down. That was five years ago and now she single hands Alegria with confidence. "It's an empowering experience.", she says. Natlie is still in contact with Ronnie Fram, the previous owner, and is striving to keep Alegria in as good a shape as when she bought her.

Ronnie Frahm- Was in the business supplies business. Little Toot was used mostly for long weekends and cruised the ICW to Washington, DC. He made many changes and upgrades including the engine and transmission replacement, installed a water flow meter, had bug screens made, and installed fuel tank level indicators. After selling Little Toot he bought a Nordic Tug 42.

Osborn- Kept Nora Celest on a lake in Atlanta before moving her to Windmill Harbour, Hilton Head Island, SC. According to Ronnie Frahm, she was used in boat shows on the east coast.
