About the Owners
Pam Bates, 6/1/2008 "… my late husband (who was never late) and I are the original owners of the Monkey. My husband, Bill Richards, and I ordered her from a broker in West Palm Beach after seeing a LNVT at the yacht club there. … we cruised the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida – spending a month or more in Maine each year and occasionally wintering in Beaufort, North Carolina. I have managed the boat on my own for the past eight years, but don’t get away as often (or as far) as I would like to – by a long shot! My most comforting rationalization on lack of cruising time is that my 37’ of waterfront property is one of the least expensive in the area."
