About the Owners (current and former)

Jerry and Lorre Jones: purchased Titan in Jan 2019, and keep her on Hilton Head Island, S.C. They currently live in Fayette County, GA and have two daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Smokey Stage: Smokey graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1973. He interned at the Oakland Naval Hospital and was a flight surgeon on the USS Forestal with Air Wing 17. In 1977-1981 he returned to the University of Texas Southwestern and completed a residency in Urology. Smokeywas then in private practice, first in Vancouver, WA from 1981-1991 and then in Dallas, TX from 1991-1998. From 1998-2006 Smokey was on the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern where he held the Paul C. Peters Chair in Urology. Smokey has two married daughters, Jennifer and Amanda, and two grand daughters, McKenzie, age six and Madelynne age three.. Smokey grew up on a lake in North Bend, Oregon. He remembers always having a runabout or sailboat around. His first sailing experience was on a 19' Lightening with his Dad. Other sailboats followed: 15' West White Potter and a 15' Skipjack. During two of his summers in college, Smokey crewed on the tugboat Titan. Titan hauled log barges from Coos Bay, OR, to Long Beach and San Diego, CA. Smokey has had Wren, his Flicka sailboat, since 2000. After retiring in August of 2006 Smokey started thinking about a larger boat. His initial interest in sailboats gave way to power boats as the Diesel Duck and some tugs caught his eye. While purusing YachtWorld.com he came across Sir Teady and the rest is history. Besides boating Smokey enjoys woodworking and is an amateur radio operator, KE5ICP.

-Teak deck 9/20-3/21, New ½” Burmese Teak deck installed, quarter sawn, no screws or bungs!
-Cap rail and exterior teak repaired and refinished 9/20-3/21, 12-14 Coats of Epifanes Marine Varnish used.
-Doors, 9/20-3/21, disassembled, redone, refinished with 12-14 coats of Epifanes Marine Varnish.

Hour meter appears to have been replaced prior to Key Stage purchase, estimate at 1400, which would put total time at 2312 for 01/2019.
