About the Owners (current and former)

Capt. Bill & Katie Horwitz: We purchased #28 formerly Annabelle Lee about four years ago in Clearwater Beach Florida. She was renovated in the salon with beautiful Italian leather (My wife Katie, whom the boat is now named "Lady Katie") insisted on the retro fit as a condition for purchase . Also added freshwater head and 2nd AC unit in berth and relocated new AC amidships near galley which increased efficiency. (It's hot here in Florida!)

I am a seasoned skipper……ex USCG and 100 ton Master….HOWEVER… as a happily retired guy with "lots of projects" on my plate, most of our boating is limited to sunset cruises on the Gulf of Mexico …..usually of duration limited to the amount of gourmet cheese and wine aboard! I first fell in love with LNVT when I saw a new one at the Miami Boat show in the mid 80's. Unfortunately I passed on that one and bought a 49' Pilothouse Marine trader for the added space and to better fit my living aboard status for the next five years….BIG MISTAKE! I now feel the LNVT would have offered comparable space and certainly more ability for cruising… (from a July 2009 email)
